I agree this would be very useful on mobile. Right now mobile only shows relative times like “updated recently” or “2h ago”, which makes it difficult to understand the exact sequence of events in active issues or pull requests. Some situations where a precise timestamp would help:
On desktop GitHub shows the full datetime when hovering over timestamps, but mobile currently lacks an equivalent interaction. Even something simple like tapping the relative timestamp to reveal the exact datetime would solve this while keeping the UI clean. |
