This is valid feedback. GitHub Mobile should ideally support inline video preview/playback for README asset links instead of showing them only as plain URLs and forcing users out of the app. That would make repository browsing much smoother and keep the whole experience inside GitHub Mobile |

Hi GitHub Mobile team,
I’ve noticed a usability limitation when viewing repositories on GitHub Mobile.
When a video (e.g., .mp4 or GitHub asset link) is added in the README:
It appears as a plain clickable URL
Tapping the link opens it in an external browser or viewer
The video then plays outside the app
This creates multiple steps and breaks the in-app experience.
